Great Lakes Episcopal Camping & Retreats
experience a Summer that is shaped by friendships, faith, and paying attention to who you are becoming
Programs
Camp Chickagami is the main program home for Great Lakes Episcopal Camping & Retreats — the Episcopal Diocese of the Great Lakes' unified camping and retreat ministry. Each summer, young people, families, and adults gather here on the shores of Lake Huron for programming that combines classic camp fun with meaningful faith formation.
Programming is offered at two beautiful lakefront locations: Camp Chickagami in Presque Isle and Stony Lake Camp in New Era. Whether you're a returning camper or exploring camp for the first time, there's a place for you.

For rising 1st through 12th graders
Overnight camp sessions, day camp, Counselors in Training, and Pioneer Adventure — at two beautiful lakefront locations. Campers swim, try archery, create art, and play games while exploring faith and building lifelong friendships.
No child is turned away for financial reasons: tiered pricing, scholarships, and free transportation are available.

For adults seeking rest, renewal, and reconnection
Somewhere between childhood and old age, most of us stop slowing down. Adult retreats at Camp Chickagami create space for what's often missing: real time to rest, create, reflect, and be in community.
Programs include a Contemplative Fiber Arts Retreat and Retreat in the Colors — a silent fall retreat.
